Rockhounds Host 2022/23 All Star Games


The GMHL is proud and excited to have the annual All Star Games be hosted by the town of Bancroft. The organization has been in the GMHL since the 2019-2020 season and have provided competitive teams as they posted 22 wins and 6th place in the North Division in their first season. Their second season provided another 6th place finish with 19 wins in a 38 games schedule. Fans and people in the community of Bancroft will be treated to the top end talent of our league, so make sure to not miss any of the action.


Letter from the Bancroft Rockhounds:


The Bancroft Rockhounds are thrilled to have been selected to host the 2022/23 Greater Metro Hockey League (GMHL) All Star Games on Tuesday January 17th. The Rockhounds would like to thank the town of Bancroft, the staff of the North Hastings Community Centre and the Bancroft District Minor Hockey Association for accommodating, embracing, and encouraging this event.


The Rockhounds have an exciting evening planned for players and fans alike. There will be a banquet style dinner provided to players and coaches followed by a presentation be Brady Levold. The first game will begin at 5:00 which will feature players from the GMHL in the 16–18-year-old age bracket. Following this game there will be a skills competition which should make for some exciting entertainment. Lastly the second All Star Game will take place at 8:00. This game features GMHL players in the 19–21-year-old age bracket. The Rockhounds are looking forward to providing everyone with a great evening of hockey in Bancroft. Tickets are $15 and include both games and the skills competitions. Merchandise will be available for purchase. Please note this is cash only.
